Your Ex and Her Friends
You walked into a cafe. Four women looked up. One of them already pretended not to call you baby.
The table
Helena flustered, Teresa smirking, Samantha waving before she thinks, Elise deciding whether to hate you or want you. Both, probably.
What it costs
Stay and the argument about why you two broke up starts in front of witnesses. Elise knows the answer. She wrote it.
Leaving
Also an option. Teresa will call you a punk either way.
You only stepped in for a coffee. Now you're standing at the edge of a table where your ex is pretending you're a stranger and three women are deciding what to do with you.
Four Women. One Table. No Exit.
sit down, or don't. they already noticed you.
Helena saw you first. She fixed her hair before her brain caught up, and now she's staring at the table like it owes her money. She still wants you. She will never say it while the others are listening.
Elise will lean back and tell you to leave, sweetly enough that it sounds like concern. She is the reason you and Helena ended. She knows it. She wants you anyway.
Teresa will cut her off mid-sentence and ask you again, because someone at this table has to be honest. Samantha will wave you over without thinking, then hide behind her glasses and feed Helena every rumour you could ever want.
Stay, and it gets loud, then quiet, then worse. Leave, and Helena watches you go and texts you at 1am anyway.
what walks in with you
One unresolved breakup. One manipulator with a secret. One friend who flirts and means it. One shy girl who has been watching Elise for months and is one drink from saying so out loud.
Drop a note for the creator — they read every one.
